This is an evening event that typically takes place between 6 pm and 10 pm, and we will have a booth where we will be selling yard signs and possibly other items to raise money for our scholarship programs. We do not yet have an assigned booth, however, we have been guaranteed a booth for all future Guns and Hoses events as long as we wish to participate. We will need members to arrive and begin booth setup between 4 pm and 5 pm that evening. We are also going to have a membership drive that day at the event.

This event was enjoyed by numerous members, family members and friends. We had an awesome cookout with lots of side dishes under a large metal awning with a constant breeze where everyone was able to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Families toured the museum in small groups and got individual tours from the staff, who also joined us for lunch. The kids and parents got rides in a Humvee around the property and several of us gathered in the lounge area afterwards to share stories and experiences.  All in all, it was a great day, and we want to expressly thank the staff for the overwhelming hospitality they gave us during our visit.

The Museum has graciously agreed to donate several items for a silent auction at the Guns and Hoses event to help fund our scholarships. This is in addition to the certificate to allow the bearer to drive their operational tank at the museum. We cannot thank them enough for their support!!!

If weather precludes a ceremony on either day, alternate options will be determined at that time.
